Wonderful B&B with friendly host and delicious breakfast.

Wonderful B&B near the centre of town. Beautiful surrounds with personal balconies for each room. The bathroom has a spa bath. Excellent value for monay and the breakfast was delicious. Quiet place overlooking the valley.

Faulty Towers without the humour

Literally one of the worst experiences of my life! They 'lost' our prepaid booking and no one was there when we arrived after a long drive and long day at work, at the exact time a storm hit so we were soaked to the bone, so we had to change for our anniversary dinner in the back of the car. We had to search the internet to find a mobile number and they finally answered, saying they could be there in 40 minutes or more. This was followed up with a spa room with no spa, cold showers, cold 'hot' breakfast, no towels soap shampoo or conditioner, tacky theme room, no 'guaranteed' view, bar fridge so loud we couldn't sleep, unable to sleep we couldn't read as the bedside lamps weren't plugged in and we would have had to move the bed to do so and a dining table so unstable our wine glasses were migrating to the centre like we were on a cruise ship on a rough day. Literally and utterly awful.

We checked in around 10 PM and had emailed the property via Hotels.com ahead of time, but they were unaware of our late arrival. We booked the Bollywood Suite, which was listed as having one queen and two twin beds. However, upon arrival, we were told it normally only has a queen bed and they had to set up additional beds — likely due to a glitch in the room details on Hotels.com. We also had the Nautical Room, which was as expected.
Our stay was incredibly short — just about 5 hours — since we had an early departure for a hot air balloon ride nearby. While the check-in confusion wasn’t ideal, the location was very convenient for our early morning activity. Can’t speak much to the overall amenities or breakfast, as we didn’t stay long enough to experience them.
