Our motel every time we’re in Grafton and it never fails to impress. Very modern, clean and comfortable.
It’s always a pleasure to arrive and be reminded how excellent it is.

Excellent I would go back there any time in the future

It was Wednesday the 15th of October 20/25, my husband & myself were trying to find a motel to stay late that afternoon my friend had rang up 3 & all gone except the Abbey, & Grant the manger give me a chance to do a very late check in not only that he let us get the keys after a late lock up, he was such accommodating man who knew we were caught at Grafton Base & never got bk to the Motel till 11 am that night be plus got a late check out at 11.30am the next morning due to us going bk to Grafton hospital, I can never thank Grant enough for what he did for us that night, it was no hassle to Grant what so ever as he was just kind of gentlemen you could actually see he cared the next morning when I meet him, Grant all I can still say today is thank you kindly for all the support & kindness you gave me & my husband that night just knowing we had somewhere to stay that late at night, the next morning you even knocked at door to make sure we were both doing as good as possible, you actually
gave me support kindness plus listened to me with any judgment & comfort as you could see I was having a difficult time, as my husband who was very sick that night, all I can say to Grant the manager of the Abbey motel Grafton is huge thank you so very much for how you helped us out without any questions that night, one again thank you kindly Grant I would highly tell people to stay there anytime Janice

Don’t stay here if you want a safe good nights sleep

I always stay here when I am in Grafton but never again. A number of hi vis workers were also staying at the motel. They get together at the bbq area of the motel which is in close proximity to the rooms, talking, swearing and drinking continued until 11.30pm. I had to words to them to try to keep it down at 8.30pm they did apologise but it continued until 11.30pm then one of the group thought it would be good to bash loudly on my door at 11.30pm. As a woman by myself on a business trip this was very scary. Complaints to the off site manager go barely a response. I guess this is due to the ongoing permanent booking by the company employing these clowns who had no respect for anyone let alone themselves.

Contactless check-in was such a quick and easy process. We booked the downstairs deluxe room so parking was right at our door which we wanted. Simple and easy check-out was also contactless. Excellent place to stay and right over the road from a major shopping centre yet it was a quiet motel.
