Gorgeous Gem of a Place

We loved everything about this place. I was feeling really unwell after a long flight from overseas and after trying to check into another place we'd booked (via Booking.com) where the host was unavailable when we arrived, we were lucky enough to find a vacancy at the Hobart Hideaway Pods. What a hidden gem! Tanya, our host was a delight and couldn't be more helpful. Every need is catered for and the view over the paddocks and distant water is breathtaking. The garden is beautiful and the whole place is an obvious labour of love. We hope to return again.

Cozy getaway

What a gem, far enough away but close enough to access everything you need.
Nestled amongst the trees, with views to the ocean, the cozy pods are a comfortable getaway. We used this to start our Tassie adventure and we were not disappointed with the accommodation at all.
With all you need, and less to unwind, we found the nights here lovely, bed comfy and the room warm.
Highly recommend this to anyone to simply unwind.

Serenity and eco-friendliness

Hobart Hideaway Pods is an absolute pleasure. Beautiful surroundings, stunning views (including the one from your front porch, which can also be seen from bed through the panorama windows, once the blinds are up) and complete serenity.
The whole place considers the future as well as the environment. The loos are completely water and odor free, the showers use local water which afterwards is bio treated on site.
There's plenty of treks to do in the vicinity, most obviously those around or up to Mt Wellington. Willie Smith's orchard and cidery is nearby, as well as Cascade brewery; and Hobart town is just 15-20 minutes away by car or motorbike.
The owner and carer is the sweetest person you'll ever meet, but if you'd rather seek solace, you can find that too in the pods.
For a true relaxing, rejuvenating and beautiful experience, stay at Hobart Hideaway Pods, you won't regret it!

Bloody Brilliant

Cosy homely peaceful would love to stay longer everything you need is onsite - thank you wheelchair access lovely native garden with good signs and explanations - so very peaceful easily accessed from Hobart. Highly recommended

Beautiful stay

My partner booked the Pea Pod for us for four nights as a surprise Birthday getaway. It's a beautiful space, so snug and cozy inside. If you sleep with the blinds open you wake up to a fantastic view and if you're lucky, a beautiful sunrise. It's conveniently close to the city and some beautiful drives if you have a car.
