A lovely large property with heaps of space to spread out. Designed for six we only had three so ooooooodles of space. Clothes washing facilities cam in handy and parking onsite was welcome. Plus the proximity to the GF bakery was a bonus.

The area was a great central place for visitors with a car. Bedrooms were a great size and so were the bathrooms.
Unfortnately we didnt get the appartment we thought, Amy Street which looked very light and airy.
The colonial style house we got was not impressive. The furniture was dirty and stained. Kitchen chairs broken, when you pulled them up to the table, they would trap your hands and legs. The cupboards were dirtymessy and not at all to a standard for guests. Not even a kitchen sponge to eipe anything. When you travel you dont want to be buying cleaning ptoducts. If you want the house clean when we leave, at least supply basic cleaning product.
We would not recommend this house to holiday .

Very spacious, well equipment, nicely presented holiday cottage - Hopkins on Charles

We stayed for 4 nights at the tail end of a two week tour of Tasmania - we're a family of 5. The house was spacious with 4 double bedrooms (2 with queen beds, 2 with twin beds), a cavernous lounge with large corner sofa, a separate dining room with small sun room attached, a good sized kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Washing machine and tumble dryer was included which, when travelling with kids, can be a god send. There is a small decked area with BBQ and a garden as well as off road parking. The house has lots of lovely original features having been built in the 1930's but has been updated for modern living. We found it very comfortable, well equipped and nicely presented.
The location has its positives and negatives. Being right in the middle of Moonah it is walking distance to shops and restaurants, a 10 minute drive to the CBD/harbour. The downside is that it is in an industrial area, on the corner of a fairly busy road junction, with what seemed to be a 24 hour car wash complex opposite. There was a fair amount of ambient vehicle noise therefore which, at times, could be intrusive, more so in the rooms at the front of the property. It didn't disturb our overall enjoyment of the property though and we'd stay again next time we were in Hobart.

It is a big house with 4 bedrooms in traditional Australian style, enough space to accomodate 8 adults comfortably. The backyard is enough to accomodate a few cars as well. Worth to note that the house is located in quiet residential area, and it is around 5 to 10 mins drive from the downtown Hobart. Generally a happy stay.

Pros- Fully equipped house, nearby restaurants : Thai, Chinese, Korean, Texan. 3mins walk to supermarket, 5mins to BWS
Cons - No free wifi, too soft beds causing backaches. Pots and pans can be cleaner.
