Easy after hours check in, great location right at Echo Point, room was nice, clean and tidy and it was nice that the AC was already on so the room was nice and toasty when I arrived, as it was about 5 degrees that night! Parking at the front of the room was nice too though I don't know that it's reserved. Would stay again!

Minutes away from Echo Point Lookout but almost non-existent housekeeping
If you look at the photos, you'll see that we ended up in an upgraded room because we found a number of bugs in the room originally given to us. To the credit of the hotel, the room change was immediate and without fuss. We did find it appalling that the original room had obviously not been well-cleaned or perhaps not been touched by housekeeping for some time, judging also by the amount of hair we found on the toilet floor. The room we were finally assigned was large and fairly basic. I wouldn't say it felt clean but we decided to not focus on all the signs of dirt and age. The air-conditioning and hot water worked well, and the bed, while soft, was not all bad. The toilet looked newly-renovated but curiously lacked some basics like sufficient shelves for our own toiletries or hooks for the hand towels. This was the only hotel in our trip that provided an all in one shampoo cum body wash in the shower. The odd design of the glass in the shower did nothing to stop the water from spilling out of the shower area, soaking the bathmat in spite of our best efforts. There is no housekeeping even though we requested for it. The best thing going for this motel is its location. It's less than 5 mins to Echo Point lookout so much so that we were able to visit it both in the morning and at sunset. It's also very near to Scenic World and the motel offers a discount if you book the tickets through them.

Location was amazing plus a beautiful view of the gardens and distant mountains. Room was super clean, lovely updates. Heating was set on 31 by the staff and never warmed up - had to wear my warmest clothes inside. High window near the door had no curtain so the people staying across from me had a great view of me getting changed plus the carpark lights stayed on well after midnight so the room was well lit - a curtain is required urgently. I also had to bother the staff after hours as I never received late check in details despite letting the hotel know in advance I would be late.

Everything about this room was great. The parking lot is a little tight but it makes up for that with the location right near the point.

Perfect location. A short stroll to the Three Sisters viewing lookout. Clean, comfortable room. The heating in the room was lovely after a day out in the cold.
