Great Accomodation

Stayed overnight on our way to Perth. Very clean well appointed accomodation close walking distance to town.
Loads of room with all the little unexpected extras.
Price was right and beats staying in a cramped room. Nice town to stay in and recommend pub for food & beverages.
Highly recommend.

Halfway across Australia

A fantastic place to spend the night in the lovely town of Kimba, SA, halfway across Australia. Well appointed accommodation with comfortable beds, modern shower and excellent facilities. A short walk to the town centre. Definitely nicer than a motel stay. Lots to see in and around the town

Different

Located on the edge of town with a rear entrance to the property. Getting here was easy enough, but checking in was a bit of a hurdle. We had booked via Wotif, but I got the impression Chrissie wasn't aware of our booking. We didn't get the promised email before arrival with any instructions. When we called there was no answer initially, but we finally made contact 30 mins later. Chrissie was two hours away on her way home from Port Lincoln.
Anyway, we got in okay and the accommodation was clean, huge and very comfortable. The WiFi worked well. Be wary that the hot water tank is very small. Unless you're really quick, two people can't shower straight after each other.

Great for an overnight stop.

Stayed for one night whilst travelling East. Chrissie was very welcoming and helpful. Provided a large shed for us to park our motorbikes overnight. Huge area with four beds and just about everything you could think of. Beds can be sectioned off for privacy. Beds very comfortable. Large bathroom, plenty of hot water. Huge lounge/sitting area. Didn't end up using it all as we were just there overnight. Walked to the pub for tea. Great value overnight stop in Kimba.

Perfect Stopover Accommodation

We stayed overnight in the budget bed and bath part of Chrissie’s Dongara which was comfortable, warm and perfect for our short term needs. The bedroom has 2 beds and the queen bed is super comfy and cosy. Having access to Netflix on the tv was a welcome bonus. The room leads out to another room which houses some office equipment and a bar fridge, kettle and toaster. The bathroom leads off of this room and is equipped with everything you would need including plenty of towels.
Chrissie lives on site and is happy to suggest places to visit and eat. Communication is easy and I would happily stay here again when heading to the SA west coast.
