Good Stop

A pub with accommodation above. Very good room with a very basic kitchenette (sink, tea and coffee) alcove and an ensuite. On the main road but very quiet. Parking out the back. No food service but handy to bakery and restaurants. Good local info pack provided

Don’t believe the photos and don’t stay here

The hotel is not what the photos show. We are in a smoke smelling room in the Carpark area looking out at piles of mulch. We will have to buy soap to be able to have a shower and we urgently need room deodoriser. The empty beer can at our door when we arrived was not welcome. I would not recommend staying here at all.

Clean, comfortable and very well appointed. A very satisfied guest.

I had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and well appointed. Ample tea, coffee and milk provided along with biscuits. Sweeties on the towels were a nice surprise and welcome after a long day. Check-in was efficient and friendly. Longford is a beautiful little country town.

Best little pub in Tassi

Best pub meal I have ever had, the staff were gorgeous, rooms very tidy and comfortable. We had the surfin Bird, (reef and beef but with chicken) . To die for!

Perfect for the Airport

Very comfortable pub stay in Longford, 10 minutes drive to Launceston airport for an early morning flyout. Rooms are all upstairs above the pub itself . My room was large, renovated, en-suite and well equipped. Good internet signal. Very comfortable bed . Has a small fridge , tv, kettle and toaster. Hotel doesn’t do meals but many nearby eateries . And a couple IGA,s for groceries. Manager was very friendly and welcoming. 24 hr access via an electronic door . Parking behind the pub building. I paid $130 per night and thought it good value. Slept well . Hotel was quiet as it was a Sunday . I would definitely stay again.
