Popular little stay in Margaret River

Great little self contained brick cottage. Easy base to lots of attraction in the area. Stayed 6 nights and were self sufficient. Unfortunately weather not the greatest in August, so rainy periods and as the cottage we were in would have been great in a hot sunny summer, was a bit dark at the end of winter. Fortunately air conditioner worked well and the cottage retained heat for during the night. Saw families with some children enjoying the grassed area and trampoline and could have had a small fire out front if we chose that time of year.

The cottage was very clean and It’s a nice check in. The kitchen had everything we needed, all were clean and of good quality. There’s also a trampoline there that my children played and had so much fun with. Thanks for everything.

Relaxing stay

Had a relaxing stay at the cottages which had all the amenities needed for a home stay. The location is great as well within walking distance to the town center. Sue ensured our check in and check out was very smooth too. My kids also loved the basketball court as well as the chickens at the cottages

Walking Club of Victoria thanks the Peppermint Brook Cottages Margaret River - May 2025

Thank you Sue and Brian at the Peppermint Brook Cottages in Margaret River. Our walking club brought 19 people over to WA and we stayed 15 days and we were all very happy with our accommodation. The cottages are set in a peaceful, quiet corner of MR, only minutes from the main street. The cottages were serviced regularly. It was so nice to walk back into our cottages after a long walk and feel welcomed back. We took full advantage of the BBQs, the welcoming lawn area for our group gatherings, the cottage verandas, the fire pits that we could cook on and be warmed by. The kitchens were well equipped with cooking utensils, etc.. and the best knife sets that I have ever seen. Lots of hot showers enjoyed and full use of the washing machine and dryer onsite. I loved that they took that extra step, to supply compost and recycle bins. Once again, thank you Sue and Brian and for your easy communication before and during our stay.

We were so pleased to have Bernadette and her walking companions come to stay. Hopefully, more walking groups will take up the challenge and stay with us while tackling the Cape to Cape.

Simply the best place to have a wonderful time with family or friends to enjoy the breathtaking views.

This was my second stay here. And as always I had a wonderful time with my newlywed wife. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and weather. The nights we had here was and will always be the best. The stars and flying stars were amazing. The best place to be enjoyed as a couple and with families and friends.
