All the facilities were great, I really enjoyed the stay. They even upgraded me to a city view room with a balcony upon check-in, I was very satisfied, and I would definitely choose this place again next time.

Good location, but bring earplugs!
If you choose to stay here, ask for a room on a high floor facing away from Flinders St. It's the noisiest place I have ever stayed in all my years of traveling, and there's no double glazing on the large windows. My original apartment was on the 6th floor, so no sleep all night enjoying trains, trams, traffic, emergency sirens and roadworks. It was really dirty, smelled bad, and had a view looking onto the roof of the neighbouring building covered in rubbish. I paid extra to be moved to the 21st floor the next morning, to a much cleaner apartment with the view shown in the advertising, though it was still incredibly noisy. (The convenience store along the road sells earplugs if you need some) It's not a 4 star - the room wasn't serviced once in a 4 night stay, they expect you to take your own rubbish out, and it is shabby. The location is great though, walking distance to everything, close to a tram stop, and Teddy and Chris on reception were very helpful and obliging. A good 4 night stay in a spacious and very clean small apartment in a convenient location. Short walk to Southern Cross Station and Docklands Stadium. 15 min walk to MCG. Numerous great restaurants, cafes and bars in the area. Good hot water and water pressure, good WiFi. Excellent kitchen and equipment for longer stay. Washer and Dryer. Table, chairs, lounge. Balcony with furniture. Fob secure access to building, lifts and room. Nice friendly staff. Bed was on the floor (i.e. no legs on base) and wasn't the most comfortable, but otherwise a reasonable price and fairly comfortable stay. Would stay again.

Thankfully, we were only there for two nights. The apartment we got was a supposed upgrade. I'm not sure what was upgraded as it was drab, dingy, and sparsely furnished. Maybe the balcony that faced a rooftop bar is considered an upgrade? First, the safety bolt on the door was broken. Not safe! Second, the walls and doors were dirty and smudged, which was just gross. The dryer was broken, so we used a wire rack and cranked up the heater to dry our clothes. Third, there was one towel hook in the bathroom that was coming out of the wall leaving nowhere in the bathroom to hang our towels. We had to hang them on the dining chairs (they were plastic so no harm was done). Foueth, the large cabinet in the bathroom had one shelf, although it clearly held more at some point. This left no where to put our toiletries in the bathroom, and I ended up using the dining table just outside the bedroom. Oh, also the dishwasher had a sign that read "Out of Order," which should have been placed on the door of the apartment. The ONLY two reasons I'm giving it 2 stars is the convenient location and comfortable bed.
