Charming and Comfortable Nest
Jenny is a superb hostess with a kitchen very well stocked with produce - fresh milk, bread, muesli, jam, chips, juice, biscuits and more. A great night's sleep and shower.
Its location is tops- close to Belgrave for a movie, near Woods cafe for breakfast or lunch. A short drive to Sassafras and Olinda for shops. September is a beautiful time with all the autumn colours, but also delightful late summer. I'd say anytime at Braeside is worth it really.

Beautiful and cosy
This accommodation consists of a few suites in a quiet residential property in Sherbrooke, in the Dandenong ranges.
Our suite was immaculately decorated with things that seem to have been collected by the owner over extensive travels. They resonated with us, as did the beautiful greenery just outside the bedroom.
The kitchen contained a well-stocked fridge (food included in the tariff), microwave and toaster, as well as all the cutlery and items necessary to prepare a simple breakfast. Extra touches like hot chocolate were welcome.
Different than for hotels, there were quite a few rules to observe, but they all make sense and contribute to preserving the cosy and well-maintained nature of the suite. One example is “no footwear inside”, which is something we observe at our own place.
We had no car - we had arrived by bus - but found a trail/fire-break that led to the nearby town of Kallista and Grants picnic ground within about twenty minutes. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and no shortage of things to do.
We found nothing to complain about and look forward to return, especially when cold weather enhances the cosy nature of Braeside Bliss.
