Birthday Celebration

Stayed at the hotel to celebrate my wife’s 60th Birthday. When booking via the hotel website, I mentioned that this was the reason for our stay. From the minute we arrived, we were welcomed warmly, allocated a fantastic corner room, and received a complimentary bottle of “bubbles” as well as a really nice hand written birthday card. It was such a nice touch.
We ate dinner in the Lodge Bar, as well as enjoying breakfast (with the kangaroos) the next morning.
All the staff we encountered were smiling and happy, and a credit to the hotel. They must really like their jobs, and it showed.
Although there was no pay TV, it was very very easy to stream to the TV in my room from my own device.
Will I/we stay here again, of course yes, but please just upgrade the breakfast options a little.

The. Yarra Valley Lodge is an amazing venue. The staff were friendly and the hotel was set within a golf course. The rooms were clean as was the entire venue.

Staff service was great but the TV was not connecting to smart phone to use netflix, youtube or any entertainment. And it is great if they can provide a microwave and cutlery and crockery inside the room for guests to use. Otherwise everything else was perfect and will be definitely recommended

From the moment we arrived at the lodge we feel looked after from reception staff, restaurant and breakfast staff.

Old building but the property and room was clean and well maintained. We were given Room 309 and I couldn’t get a good night sleep as I can hear something ticking in the room. Also, the pillows were not very comfortable and don’t provide the right support for me. Breakfast was ok but staff wasn’t attentive to refilling the breakfast items quickly.
