Comfortable and Homely

I’d always wanted to drive to Bright at the peak of Autumn and this year (2024) I finally got my wish, and it was spectacular!
We booked an overnight stay at Rosewhite House BnB and it was really cosy with beautiful views and a lovely balcony.
Cindy, our host, was super easy to deal with and we’ll definitely book again if we’re ever in the area.

Would not recommend as a B&B.

This is not really a B&B. Food left in a fridge that others have access to in a communal kitchen is not B&B.
Room and bed very comfortable, but there is a lack of lounge area or shared lounge.
6 plastic chairs in a shared kitchen is not my idea of a relaxed atmosphere.
No bed made, no bathroom cleaned and only saw the host twice in 4 days.

A relaxing accommodation with a wonderful view

It is located on a hill about 10 minutes by car from Martalford. We had received information in advance, but when we arrived, the host came out and greeted us. Each room has a balcony and is a relaxing space overlooking the magnificent farmland! I was able to enjoy the great outdoors, close to the sounds of cows and birds. There is also a dining table in the communal kitchen, where you can easily prepare and eat your meals. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs, bread, and juice for breakfast. I stayed in a twin room and it was a comfortable space.
I think it is often used by people who are sightseeing in Bright or Beechworth or cycling nearby. A stay overlooking the farmland is a relaxing experience. I think it would be fun next time if I could use it with a few friends or privately. I would definitely like to come stay again.

Wonderful place to stay

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. It was conveniently located between everywhere we were planning to visit in the area, and very easy to find. We chose just the basic room, which we knew ahead of time did not have access to the shared kitchen. Cindy was very helpful emailing us ahead of our booking date to make sure that we were aware of this, and she also made a point of greeting us and saying goodbye when we left. The room itself was very comfortable and clean, as was as the ensuite bathroom. The room has a little refrigerator to store snacks and drinks, plus a kettle with a variety of teas and instant coffees (I greatly appreciated the herbal teas). We appreciated the complimentary chocolates and wine too. The gardens around the house are beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings before going out. I particularly loved the views of the night sky here as well. Highly recommend staying here.
