Nice and cosy cottage

Very cosy and cool cottage. Spacy and clean. Nicely tucked in a quiet area, yet short drive to Marysville centre.
While the door lock did secure the door, we would have preferred something more stronger as the existing lock felt bit flimsy.

Beware false advertising

Absoloutley disgusted by this place. Nothing like the photos. Property was unkept. I fell through an unstable rail on the stairs. Rusty mouse traps around. Spa was green. The host escorted us to a dodgy room at the back of the propert that looked like a filthy garage. We were so uncomfortable we left within 5 minutes. Will be reporting this and escalating the matter

Excellent hosts

Mark and Meg were the most delightful and accommodating people I have ever met. The accomodation was spot on and we had one of the best nights rest months tranquil location we have had in a long time. Breakfast was worthy of a Michelin star mention. We will definitely be back.

A great find on a Mystery Weekend Tour

Our night at Oaktree Guest House as part of a Mystery Weekend package was for us the highlight of the trip.
Whereas we found the picnic deal itself rather disappointing due to lack of variety and abundance, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mark and Meg’s accommodation.
We appreciated what they were endeavouring to achieve with their choice of decorations and their genuine sense of hospitality.
We felt very comfortable there and I particularly enjoyed using the spa on our (almost) private patio.

It was such a charming experience as we stayed for a girls Night! what an amazing day of life it was!

We stayed at Oak tree Guest house for a weekend overnight stay with Friends, it was a girls night! i must say it was such an Amazing night and would remain memorable forever!! all of which was possible with excellent support from host. They were very sweet and welcomed us late evening with everything we could have asked for. They have kindly arranged for all our ad-hoc requests , late night hot water for Jacuzzi (although it was not functional) they instantly made it work for us. I cant stop talking about the unlimited home made breakfast, host has served us!! It was super delicious and it was all what we can eat. host was kind enough to accommodate breakfast considering dietary restrictions as well. No doubt we will visit this places again for its beautiful scenic views, super helpful and wonderful host and the price was very reasonable.
