An Oasis spent with great friends

We were so lucky to have found & stayed with Mescal & Rod, the best hosts you could possibly ask for. Their property & accommodation are second to none, the tranquil setting is an oasis. The gardens are a delight to walk around with the lily filled ponds instantly putting you in a relaxed & happy state of mind. The accommodation has been purpose built in an immaculate & thoughtful way even down to disabled accessibility, the rooms, very comfortable bed, hot shower & dining facilities were fantastic, breakfast was personally prepared by Mescal each morning from a light meal, with cereal fresh fruit, jams & toast to the full country breakfast with everything. Our time was like staying with old friends. Mescal is the Queen of Hosts ably assisted by her Husband Rod. if scoring is out of 5 we would give this outstanding accommodation a 10. A wonderful bed and breakfast stay

What a relaxing and wonderful stay we had at Mescal’s! She is a great and thoughtful host and made sure we felt at home and catered for all our needs.. The accommodation is spotless and clean with all the amenities and more. Most of all, we loved the cooked delicious breakfast each morning and the charm of a good, well run bed and breakfast.

Oasis of Tranquility

The photo gives a hint of the serenity that awaits any visitor fortunate enough to stay here . A bushland oasis close to beautiful beaches and quaint country villages. A visit in Spring or Autumn brings added delight with beautiful gardens spilling into your private patio area.

Peaceful, Relaxing retreat

Mescal's was the ultimate peaceful and relaxing weekend. Beautiful grounds to wander around, watch the birds and wallabies. Lovely home cooked meals. Breakfast to equal the best 5 star restaurant. Close to beaches at Old Bar and shops in Taree. Can't wait for another excuse to go back.

Reviews were right - Beautiful & peaceful location

What a gem, found this place through Trip Advisor, read all the reviews & decided to book, and they were right.
Very friendly owner, Mescal makes you feel welcomed instantly. She showed us around & to our room. gave us great info about the area & where to go for dinner.
The room was comfortable & had everything you needed. The area came with a communal lounge & kitchen that we would've shared if someone else had been here.
The kitchen was supplied with tea, coffee, biscuits, milk & water.
Bed was soft & comfortable & it lovely to sleep with the sliding door open to the garden all night.
Location was excellent, close to Old Bar Beach, Taree & to the A1 Pacific Highway
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a night or weekend away & who wants to explore the Manning Valley.
