Quick , healthy lunch .

My sister and I had the most divine Thai Beef Salad at the very beautiful Mahogany Creek Inn.
Just the right amount of spice with some extra chilli’s if you needed it . A very generous amount of tender beef strips and yummy Asian salad .
The staff were friendly and efficient .
We will be back .

Beautiful stay

Loved my stay here! I'm only not giving 5 star as the restaurant is permanently closed, and we were only informed this AFTER we had booked and paid. I think the restaurant would make it a 5 plus star stay. The room was very spacious and beautiful. Everything was clean, and had everything we needed.

Lunch at a recently opened favourite

The former Mahogany Inn, now know as Mahogany Inn and Distillery, was our venue for lunch. The Sottt Fillet was cooked superbly, as was the rest of the meal. We will definitely be coming back again to this venue and will be accompanied by friends or family. I recommend you give it a go asap. The staff very polite and helpful. Les Marshall

Beautiful rooms but the photos here of the bar and restaurant are irrelevant now.

After I booked I received a message advising the restaurant and bar are closed permanently. Bit of a let down as there’s nothing else within walking distance.
However…. The room was simply beautiful. Large room with a big comfy bed, blockout curtains, massive bathroom with the best shower you’ll find, and it was all immaculately clean.
A couple of things we didn’t like:
After hours check in was confusing. We were looking for the “keypad” and eventually realised it’s a digital one and doesn’t light up till you touch it. Took us half an hour to get in.
Tried calling the mobile number but it was switched off.
No doormat at the rear door. We felt horrible as we walked dirt in over the carpet.
TV antenna must’ve been faulty as half the channels were scratchy and couldn’t be watched.
The location means only 2-3 restaurants will deliver dinner so be prepared to drive.
Overall it is a magic place and such a shame it’s not running at full capacity with bar and restaurant.

Room cancelled out of the blue.

We had our room that was booked for New Years Eve cancelled out of the blue (due to maintenance issue) via a voicemail, and with no other accommodation available in the area, we've had to now cancel our plans completly. I tried following up and got no response or further explanation, or even the offer of staying another night. Feels pretty poor.
