Fabulous self contained cabin in the heart of the Hunter

Very large and spacious family cabin on a quiet and beautiful land with kangaroos everywhere. Your host Christine is extremely friendly and will ensure you have a lovely stay. Extremely clean and fridge stocked with breakfast supplies. Would definitely recommend for a family wanting a self contained option in the Hunter Valley.

True Gem in Hunter Valley

We rented an apartment which turned out to be a stunning log cabin home accommodation. There were two bedrooms plus infant room downstairs and master suite loft overlooking downstairs area on 2nd floor. Living room with massive dining room and heating in common areas.
A bit chilly in bedrooms as those had only electric heaters but plenty of blankets.
Fireplace, wrap around deck, ping pong table, fun garden maze and literally next door to amazing winery on either sides.
Breakfast was self serve and prepare in great sized kitchen - owner would stock fridge day before - unheard of!
Great place to relax away from crowds but yet 10 minutes to Hunter Gardens and restaurants.

Amazing doesn't cover it...

From the moment We were greeted by our lovely host Christine, to the moment We drove away our stay here was phenomenal. The pictures do not do the cottage justice, you really have to see it to believe it. Set on a Hunter Valley vineyard with views of the surrounding mountains it really is stunning and so so quiet. A full wrap around verandah, outdoor eating area, BBQ, table tennis & parking, then you walk inside... WOW!!! Open beamed high ceilings, with a loft bedroom with king sized bed... Full living room with fireplace, dining room and a fully serviced kitchen... Other bedrooms are spacious, another King plus a queen sized room with another room which would accommodate 2 single beds. Amenities are perfect for a group of 6 or more or families. Package included a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, fruit & cheese platter as well as full breakfast- bacon, eggs, bread for toast, orange juice and assortment of cereals to cook at your own leisure in the fully equipped kitchen.
It's the attention to detail We loved the most and our hosts could not have done more to improve our stay, accommodating all of our needs. Not to mention the place is Eco-friendly for those wanting to reduce their environmental footprint. Definitely recommended for a weekend getaway or for those attending concerts at the Estates... Thank you We will return.

Lovely Hunter hideaway

Came here on a wine lovers trip with a total of six adults, was greeted by the owner who explained everything that needed explaining and we were left with an amazing cheese platter, a bottle of wine and enough breakfast to sink a ship! Very comfortable accommodation with a massive main suite upstairs and three further bedrooms, two of which are also doubles. One major negative is that there is only one toilet, we found this a bit of an issue with six adults and I'm sure would be worse if there were eight of us. But overall a really good stay and we were even texted on our second day to see if we needed more firewood as it was cold. I'd recommend it to anyone who wanted a quiet and quaint stay in the Hunter.
