What more could u want

We had a really great stay at the Birch Hotel in Port Douglas. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very welcoming. Our room was clean, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable trip.
One of the absolute highlights was the communal cooking and BBQ area. It is fully stocked with everything you need to prep and cook your own meals. We made an incredible breakfast on the BBQ with bacon, eggs, pork sausages, mushrooms, and halloumi cheese—all while looking out over the beautiful pool area.
Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again

Good location, clean rooms, nice pool and friendly staff however for the price, the property needs more upkeep, taps broken, very rough mattresses, dodgy door locks, chair cushions without covers

Great budget friendly resort

Beautiful little resort in Port Douglas. Not quite walking distance into town but very easy to get into town if you have a car. The room was clean and spacious and well priced. It lost points for me as the smoke detector was hanging open with no batteries inside.

The room was comfortable, parking was easy, the pool was lovely. It’s about 2.5k from the centre of town. It looks like they’re in the midst of renovating the place so it’ll be good to come back and see how it turns out.

Very good value

Excellent value for the holiday. Enjoyed the walk to and from the main shopping area every day. Manager was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. A very enjoyable week.
