Fantastic service , great atmosphere ,

Awesome atmosphere , bar tenders (Simon and Mells) were attentive , charming and easy on the eye , music was sensational,
all round a great night and pub , well done ! Will be back again , should be a great NYE in Robe seems to be a summer buzz around the place already

Terrible Snitty

Possibly the WORST snitzel I have ever been served & I’ve eaten a LOT of snittys.
Was terribly over cooked, small & very tough & chewy!!
Ordered seafood on top, white sauce was basically flour & water, tasteless & the few bits of calamari looked & ate like they had been microwaved.
Chips were old tasting & bland.
The salad was ok.
The so called “cook” should get a rocket up em.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We stayed at the Robe hotel for eight days during October and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was reasonably priced, clean and spacious with a fantastic view over the bay. The bed was comfortable and the balcony area a great bonus!
We also enjoyed the food at the busy restaurant downstairs, especially the crab pasta and fish and chips, which were beautifully cooked and presented.
The bar area was good fun, with live music and a good selection of drinks. Excellent service throughout our stay from all bar staff, especially Simon who made us feel so welcome and is an asset to the hotel.

Old place with uninterested staff.

The restaurant is wonderful with one of the best waiters ever and that’s where the good things end. We stayed 3 nights and no housekeeping came near our room even after telling them there was a stain on the sheet. The bathroom is atrocious. Shower head filthy, huge step in to shower. Toilet rickety. Sink crazed, stained and dirty. Mirror has age and water damage for about 3 inches at the bottom. There was a clump of hair and dirty piece of toilet roll behind the door. The bed was horrid. Bedside table had rubbish in the drawer. . Facilities for tea and coffee not fillled up, no cups/mugs, no spoons. Whole room very old and sad. The balcony was nice so that was the only plus. The cleaners and hotel staff were uninterested in my discussion. Eat here. Great restaurant but don’t stay. Very sad.

Accommodation basic

it is a great location , right on the beachfront, Very basic accommodation with , the ensuite units in dire need of an upgrade with regards to the toilet/shower facility ; the room was roomy and the beds very comfortable though. We booked with the Hotel but weren't informed that the restaurant/bistro was closed down for renovations which put a bit of a dampener on our stay.
