The site management on site was very helpful. And the location was close to beach, restaurants and bars.

Was better than many reviews had suggested. Feared we would be kept awake from noise from upstairs room etc but that wasn’t the case, be prepared though for an early wake up call from what sounded like a million birds all waking at the same time and a few possums (or similar).
Overall it was a good stay, nice and close to the city, good camp kitchen if you don’t want to cook in your room. Could be a bit cleaner and was a bit surprised by the notice saying I would be charged $50 if I didn’t take my rubbish out, I didn’t mind doing this but thought surely the cleaner came empty a small rubbish bin when cleaning.

DISGUSTING

DREADFUL, DONT GO THERE. Nothing like their brochure & website. Old, dirty, rundown. No-one mans the office during business hours, you have to ring a phone number to get someone. I could not believe the state of the amenities block & on the day we arrived the pool & spa were disgusting, other tourists and ourselves wouldn't get in. Your sites are in amongst the annuals that live there so our view next to us was a view of rubbish under & behind their van (this was at the front of the park, not down the back). As we found out (2 weeks after leaving) from the people staying opposite & across from us on exactly the same type of site, we paid $15 more per night than they did......REALLY. I have made contact with G'Day headquarters about the state of this park. There a much nicer parks in Hervey Bay to stay. See for yourself, check out the photos below.

Looks nothing like the pics, needs an upgrade desperately. We didn’t stay, took one look and left.
