Exceptional Service and Genuine Care - Thank you Hannah and Tina
I’d just like to take a moment to acknowledge and sincerely thank Hannah and Tina for their wonderful assistance during my recent stay at BreakFree Port Pirie.
I had originally booked two nights, but due to an unexpected change in my work arrangements, I realised that I would only require one night. I contacted the hotel to see if my booking could be amended, and both Hannah and Tina were incredibly pleasant, understanding and accommodating throughout the process.
What really stood out to me was the way they handled my request — there was no fuss, no unnecessary complications, and importantly, they kindly amended my booking without charging a cancellation fee. Their willingness to assist and their friendly attitude made what could have been a frustrating situation incredibly easy.
It’s often the small gestures and the way people treat their customers that leave the biggest impression. Hannah and Tina certainly did that for me, and I wanted to make sure their efforts were recognised.

Clean, comfortable stay we'd happily repeat
We had a really enjoyable stay at BreakFree Port Pirie and would not hesitate to return. The room was spotles and well set up, with everything you need for a comfortable visit. The air conditioning was working perfectly, which was a genuine lifesaver given how cold it got in the evenings during our stay. We have been here a few times before and have always made a point of eating at the restaurant on site, and I have to say the food is very unique and genuinely impressive for a regional property. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the overall place felt well maintained and clean. If you are passing through Port Pirie and need somewhere reliable and comfortable, this is absolutely the place to stay. We will definitely be back on our next trip through the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid overnight stop.

The room was clean and tidy, with a well working aircon, which we used due to the cold temp at night. While we didnt eat at the restaurant this trip, we have on previous stays, and the food is very good
