Love staying at the Challis for access to the city, local shops, restaurants and cafes. It’s generally a very good experience at a great price. An upgrade to a King room was provided and the bed was large and comfortable for a person after knee surgery but the few stairs to access bathroom and small bathroom proved difficult for movement. I hadn’t noticed on previous stays but the noise of closing doors throughout the floor and throughout the night wasn’t ideal but I’m sure there would be an easy fix.

Do you need to stay in Sydney in Potts point or nearby? Do not hesitate to stay at the cellos motel hotel this quaint little building which houses? Many rooms are pleasantly well taken care of with a bygone era of years passed. Delicately maintained. With shops and amenities, coffee shops and restaurants all nearby within walking distance this place is perfectly positioned in the middle of Sydney and never too far from any mainstream tourist locations.. The staff are very helpful and will assist you in all matters. Should you have any questions? Ask and they are able to more than assist you at your time of need this for me is the third time staying at Potts point and will again at the end of the month with my wife currently situated so close to the private hospitals that sometimes are needed for people to attend to from other states due to the specialist their prices of rooms are exceptionally reasonable. This truly is one of my most favourite little locations to stop in while in Sydney.

Budget Hotel

This was booked for a work trip. We wanted to stay in a cute neighborhood and Potts point was recommended so to start positively the neighborhood was nice but that’s about it. This is a budget hotel and if that’s what you are looking for/expecting you should be fine but that was not my take away from previous reviews so I felt compelled to share our experience. The rooms were smaller than expected. You literally could not open a suitcase other than on the bed. The bathroom had zero counter space and was also quite small. There were steps to get into the room and around the hotel so if you have any accessibility issues I would not recommend this hotel. The sheets were scratchy, you could hear everything outside and there was one small window in the room. If you’re looking for a cheap room in a cute part of Sydney this may work but if you’re trying to enjoy a holiday or need to open a suitcase (forget about 2), or use a counter for your toothbrush or makeup, this isn’t it. We were supposed to stay for almost a week and checked out after one night.
