The thing that really stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered. From check-in to check-out everyone was welcoming and always with a smile… which is even more impressive as it was quite busy and there were other guests I observed who could have been kinder. I booked for the price but would return for the service.

First time here since 2019. Club room booked for a one night stay. In-room safe was inoperable but sadly not attended to until day of departure. Was told at check in that Club Lounge not open for evening drinks and canapés, but found out that it actually was open after struggling to get service in the crowded bar. Management were apologetic for the miscommunication that we were given, after we complained, and stepped up admirably to make it up to us. Kudos to them and their team in the Lounge for making us feel cared about after we got there! Will likely return when next in the area, but will ask for confirmation if told of alternate Club experiences in the future.

11th wedding anniversary

Spent the night with my wife of 11 years and was very impressed with the hotel. In arriving the manger and other stuff member on the front seat were very helpful and courteous and extremely friendly.
The room was a good size and on entering found a bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries (the strawberries were very average find yourself a new veg supplier). It had rose petals all over the bed and from the door to the bed. The bed had 2 towels on it with the shape of 2 Swans or live heart. Looked good.
Breakfast was included and was enough without Too much to choose from. Scrambled eggs were a bit watery but other than that ok.
Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We arrived 2 hours late for check in the room wasn't ready for us we had to wait for them to clean it, after a 4 hour drive to get there it wasn't an impressive start.
We found hair and a chipped piece of glass on the sheets under the blankets.
Furniture was out dated/dirty, bathroom sink was sticky on arrival hadn't been wiped down properly.
Paid for a room rated 10.0. Looking back I think the renovated rooms (rated less than 10.0) looked better than the pictures in the advertisement for the room we paid extra for, the pictures certainly make the room look better than it is and it's only on floor level 2 so you pay more for and outdated room on a lower floor.
We expected more for this price we've stayed at other hotels for less with better furniture and cleanliness.

Central Location

Excellent central location on Smith Street near the new Powerhouse Museum.Comfortable rooms well suited to the business traveller eg good desk and spacious rooms.
