Changes that were made to the booking and confirmed were not transferred to hotel reception so at one point there was suggestion there was no room for us. An offer was made if I would accept 2 single rooms. This was unacceptable with 2 young children. Eventually a new room was found however, even though it wasn't the room I had booked and paid for, a refund of any amount was not offered.
There were only 2 towels in the room so two of us had to share a towel.
Overall a very stressful check in and such a shame as my last experience was flawless.

VERIU - NEW AND DELIGHTFUL - BETTER THAN EXPECTED

This new hotel was a cosy, quiet and comfortable accommodation experience with very friendly and professional staff. Many good quality coffees in the Cafe were times well spent with cheerful staff there as well. The Hotel's location, a 3 minutes walk to the Macquarie Park Metro station, is a much valued aspect. Highly recommended.

Safety Risk - DO NOT BOOK

The front desk workers at this location gave a key to an unauthorized person in our room. They didn't call us or have this person verify they were all allowed entry to our room in any way. This guest was able to access the room without our knowledge, which is a total violation of our privacy and safety. Do NOT book here unless you'd like your safety to be at risk.
