Best motel I have stayed in for a long time

The best motel I have stayed in for a long time. Great beds. Great shower. Quite aircon. Big LG TV. Bath sheets not towels and not white and did I mention soft. Clean and fresh feel. Great pool and BBQ area

Rude reception

Owner seemed pleasant but then i encounted the receptionist. She was unwelcoming , not helped by her insistence on holding a record of my Visa security card number. I had already paid. Her explanation was clear, you cannot be trusted, so it works both ways, whatever that means.
As i had queried her on having a written record of my code she refused to say thank you, enjoy your stay or anything hospitable.

Cancelled booking on morning of Arrival at Easter Time - No Apology - No Room for the Night!!

The management at this Motel are unorganised and uncaring. We made a booking for 1 night at this motel in January 2021 for our Easter break 2021. On the morning of our booking when we were already in Mt Beauty we received a call saying they had "double booked" us and that they had only just received our booking on booking.com that morning which is incorrect as my son had received numerous text messages from owners discussing our dog staying there as well. Obviously they ditched our booking for a longer stay with someone else and didn't give any care to the fact that we wouldn't be able to find another room that night - we were left homeless for the night and this ruined our break away. In the end we had to drive all the way to Albury Wodonga and got the last room there.
I didn't even receive an apology or any compensation from the owners. They are claiming it was booking.com fault - it definitely wasn't!! They put money before anything else - absolutely disgusted - avoid this place at all cost!!!

No choice

Needed somewhere to stay last minute and it was the only place available due to a last minute cancellation. I understand that it's pet friendly but seriously. On arrival there was a family with a dog in the pool area that thought it would be fun to continually splash their dog and make it bark constantly for nearly an hour from our arrival. The rest we needed after a long day of driving therefore didn't eventuate. Another couple decided it would be ok for their dog to just wander down and sniff around us when we were outside our room. Having said all of this it is a pleasant motel in a pleasant little town. Rooms were very clean and bathroom recently renovated. A lovely place to stay if you like other people's pets.

Queens Birthday long weekend

Stayed for 2 nights for some cycling nearby. Great Motel and excellent facilities in the room. Fitted out very nicely, set back from the main road and nice and clean. Kitchen area has a toaster and microwave so allows for many eating options/ breakfast.
