our room was good in size = very clean good size bathroom.. NEW managers who are very nice and pleasant to deal with.. pool is excellent. b.b.q area quite roomy.

Absolutely disgusting

Booked our Xmas break in September 2024 and paid deposit
1 day before arriving we get email stating booking cancelled and cancellation fee of $205
Partner called motel and had the most rudest person who didn't care and advised room has now been booked out to someone else at a higher rate.
Motel has refused to refund our deposit when we didn't cancel our booking.
Christmas Holidays ruined by this place.
So now they have our deposit and made more money by booking room out at a higher rate.
Social media isn't good for any business either is consumer affairs.
I visit this place face to face to demand a refund or this will be taken further.
I am absolutely discussed in the we were spoken to and treated.

Very clean room, with good wide parking, Bowling Club within walking distance for good meals.

No undercover parking , however vehicle parking spots were directly in front of room, were well line marked and large enough so doors could be fully opened without fear of hitting car along side. Rooms were very clean, good toiletries provided and tea,coffee and biscuits were of a good quality.
The mattress had seen better days , it felt like there was only a sheet covering the innersprings, and was not supportive or comfortable for two people, resulting in rolling inwards, so we ended up topping and tailing either end of the be, we did not sleep well. Okay for 1 night!

Clean and convenient

Saw great reviews for this motel, decided to book and was not disappointed!
Our family room was very clean, and all amenities and features worked excellently. Nothing to fault here really. It was all we needed for a wonderful stay. Very friendly and helpful hosts made us feel very welcome.
This motel was in a very convenience location as we had breakfast at the Rockpool Cafe which was only a 2 min drive, as was the swimming and fishing areas there.
This was our first time in the Tuncurry/Forster region, and we will definitely return to this accommodation in the future.
