A very special place!

A very special stay at a very special homestead! We stayed in the Stables Studio. A lovely spot, and very well equipped! Loved meeting Tom and his parents and they made us feel right at home. Highly recommend a stay here. If we are back in the area we will definitely return! And don’t forget the wool shop. It’s amazing!!

Country Charm and Hospitality with City Sophistication

Beautifully prepared with fresh posies in lovely nooks. Clean as a whistle. Warm on arrival - so thoughtful. Wood fire set for lighting. Beautiful, tasteful toiletries in the bathroom. Soft fluffly towels, comfortable bed and lots of pillows! Beautiful linen.
The ambience was divine, cosy, comfortable. Plenty of games on offer and books to read.
The hosts are great, salt of the earth people with an obvious regard for service.
The ONLY thing I'd add is a Breville Coffee Machine as no cafes nearby for that morning latte..... I know. But there is a plunger and good coffee at the ready. And yummy milk.
The resident coloured sheep - a total woolly bonus.
The views from The Cottage are lovely.
What else can I say? Beautiful for a short or long stay. Love it and would go back again in a heartbeat.
Thanks the Dennis Mob

Tarndie - tranquil & relaxing...

We stayed in The Farmers Cottage and it was exactly what we needed for a completely relaxing getaway. Tastefully decorated to suit the period, the 1940’s Farmers Cottage was very clean & tidy with a comfortable, cosy vibe that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door...plush beds with fresh linen, beautiful flowers in every room, books to curl up on the sofa with, a full kitchen to prepare all those local delicacies, barbecue outside, large fireplace and firewood ready to go - what more could you want??
The hosts of this little beauty were amazing...always there to provide advice on the best local spots to visit, tips on where to get the best sourdough and always doing everything they can to ensure your stay with them is a fantastic experience.
During our stay we also had the pleasure of meeting the partner and family of the host. What a lovely, friendly, cool bunch of people! We really enjoyed catching up with them over morning tea, they made us feel welcome from day one.
Neighbouring homestead and free range egg producer Moorpark Farm, offers the chance to enjoy the rarity of true, free range country eggs that are of exceptional quality.
It also just happens that the best local coffee is served onsite in the Homestead Courtyard - don’t miss the opportunity for morning tea in the sunny courtyard, the coffee is absolutely superb!
We highly recommend Tarndie to anyone seeking a relaxing, peaceful getaway in the country. Tarndie offers intriguing history, beautiful wool products, well appointed accomodation, excellent hosts and so much more!

Great experience!

We stayed at the farm cottage and visited the farmshop. Very nice house and garden and great breakfast. The morning tea was lovely and we got a change to learn more about the history of the farm and about the wool.
Highly recommended!

Amazing little studio in a beautiful setting.

We stayed in the Stables Studio - what an amazing little spot. It was warm, cosy and had everything we could have wanted. Beautiful setting on the farm, and we had coffee and a great chat with Tom the owner, who gave us a rundown of the history of the place and the local area. They also helped us tee up transport to/from Brae and were super helpful. Definitely recommend this as a great spot if you're staying down this way.
