Stayed in Servants Quarters

Lovely little cottage in an historical area.
Numerous cottages - stayed in Servants Qtrs used to be the original Baker's house.
Things I loved -
Loved the history and historical feel.
Loved the unique feeling. Some areas wonky floor - not great for elders
Baked goods delivered
Had everything required - bed, bathroom, kitchen. Heater, TV.
Parking out back or street
Lovely little garden you can use herbs from
BBQ shared out back
Shower has a great shower head
Recycling area
Things I didn't like
Bedroom was tight couldn't walk around bed.
Didn't have instructions for washing machine. Water needed to be turned on to use

Servant's Quarters

The room we stayed in, Servant's Quarters, says it all. The place needs a really good update and tender loving care. The carpet is "ugh", the coffee has been sitting around for years, extremely difficult moving past the bed which makes a lot of noise and rusty soap dish in the shower. On the up side the bed and pillow was comfortable, great heater and instantaneous hot water. Sorry, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Great location, authentic and clean. Friendly and helful staff. A nice hustoric change up from the usual accomodation.
