Friendly road trip

Lovely little hotel perfect for a night or 2 on your road trip to northern Tasmania. Friendly and warm employee. Spacious room. Location near activity. Restaurant bar on the ground floor. Street parking.

We were charged $20 more than the advertised price on the room, overcharged on our drinks and the meals were overloaded with salt. Room absolutely reeked of fresh paint, no air con and a coffee pod machine with no coffee.

Give it a miss

We unfortunately booked the accommodation at the Wharf Hotel for 2 nights. With Covid rules in place you would think that cleaning was a priority but no. The room was putrid. Fans had a 10mm layer of dust. The heater had frayed cables and the room smelt mouldy and very funky. The shower was excellent but the bed was horrible and needs replacing. We stayed with another couple and our key opened at least 5 other rooms so security was no existent. The advertise secure motorcycle storage which was one of the reasons we chose the Wharf Hotel. What absolute BS. Parked in car park and absolutely no security. For the money you should look elsewhere. Extremely poor establishment and filthy dirty. Give it a wide birth if your looking for accommodation. However, the food at the pub in the bistro was excellent and I would recommend eating at the Wharf Hotel

Great value for money

Paid $80 a night for room in the hotel spotlessly clean and a brand new bathroom. Also perfect for motorbike riders they have secure bike parking. Meals are large in size and start at $12 can't go past it
