Lovely relaxing holiday
Quiet. Well positioned but central to everything. The bed was amazing. Shower pressure excellent, well laid out kitchen the high light was the plunge pool. Lovely the security no one else could get in top notch. Very private. Which I could rate it higher than 5

This place is a total gem!
Stayed a week at Bellbry and didn't want to leave. It had everything - laundry, comfy bed and the heated pool was awesome! Thanks Mark & Nancy - you're the best - we'll see you both next year!

Lack of hospitality
We booked a pool suite at Bellbry Lodge via their own website. Payed for it, received a confirmation, and went about our day. An hour later I received a confirmation of cancellation, with the message ‘sorry to hear you’ve changed your mind about staying with us’. Tried to contact the property via email and telephone, but couldn’t reach them. Checked later that afternoon whether the suite was still available. It was, so I figured things would be sorted out. Got an email reply in the evening, with the owner saying that the booking was cancelled ‘automatically by the system’ (apparently the system kicked in again a full hour past the automated confirmation…). I’ll spare you the rest of the communication, suffice it to say that it felt disingenuous, and the tone was belittling and unhelpful. We were able to book something else, so it wasn’t a big problem, but I was taken aback by the lack of hospitality.

As communicated to you, the issue occurred because the system was unable to reconcile a six-night stay being booked under a limited three-night package rate. This resulted in the booking being voided - an unfortunate and understandably frustrating situation.
We aim to communicate clearly and fairly at all times, and we responded as soon as we had investigated the issue. Our package details, including stay length and pricing, are outlined transparently on our website to help avoid this kind of confusion.
While we respect your perspective, we do find it regrettable to receive a review based on a booking that was not valid due to an attempt to book beyond the parameters of our three-night package. Our system’s safeguards are in place to maintain fairness for all guests and this situation doesn’t reflect the true guest experience we strive to provide.

Private paradise with the dreamiest heated pool
Bellbry Lodge was everything we needed - peaceful, private and so well-designed. The suite itself was spotless and the kitchen perfection! But the real winner was the heated pool - we floated under the stars at night and totally unwound. Already planning our return!
