Top lodge

Very good service, tours, facilities and 'tent' :)
During a quite cold night we missed however the possibility to heat up the shower (room not the water),

Peaceful isolation

We have been fortunate to have travelled to many incredible places and had opportunities to stay at unique properties. This was one of my favorites places to visit. It mixes a luxury safari like experience (albeit without the animals) with peaceful isolation. We spent 3 nights here and stayed in the 2 bedroom Dune pavilion (traveling as a family with 2 children ages 12 and 16). This is not a property where you will find many children but it was a special family experience. The dinner under the stars (with blankets and heaters and stargazing), the multi course meals at each sitting and the relaxed and peaceful environment made for a memorable trip. All activities, meals, transport to and from the airport were included. At night, they even set up the outdoor fireplace with drinks on the loungers (all drinks and snacks are included). They even provided hot water bottles in the bed at night to keep room, which was an amusing surprise. We went in winter, so our tours in the morning were chilly. We did avoid most of the flies, which I understand can be troublesome in the warmer months. They provided blankets for the gorge walk (felt like a Jedi walking through the gorge with the blankets flowing off of us). We got to enjoy sundowners while overlooking Uluru at the sunset viewpoint, providing stunning pictures. While expensive, it provides an opportunity to experience Uluru and the Outback region in a. relaxed manner and feel closer to the natural environment. It's glamping at it's finest.

An anniversary to remember

Was looking for something special for a significant anniversary and decided on Longitude 131. The price was a BIG number so was hoping it would live up to the hype.
I can report it does!
set up is great, rooms as good as you would expect, all inclusive everything 24/7.
However the biggest plus, and pleasure for us, was the consistency and excellence of the staff. Each was charmingly friendly and helpful. The guides (different one each tour) were just great.
Fellow residents came from all round the globe but so do the staff. You feel like you're in some kind of United nations gathering.
We were there 3 night and I would not stay less. Each day was full of great things to do but some downtime built in.
Just a couple of the dishes were not perfect but overall interesting and yummy.
This place is expensive as all get out, but worth it.
Loved it!
