Great value for money

The hotel is right next to the church and the park, so we were able to take a short walk whenever we wanted. All staff members we met are Hungarian. It made staying there a lot easier. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is family. There are a lot of sights in the area, the blonde lady at the reception explained in detail what is worth seeing and how to get there. I strongly recommend the hotel to anyone who comes to see this wonderful area.

Family friendly

The hotel was very familiar to us, so everyone we met was Hungarian. They were helpful and kind. The hotel is right at the entrance to the church, in the middle of the city. The bed was strange the first night, the mattress was different from the hardness at home, but we slept well the second night. The streets are very quiet at night, you can only hear the bell. A quiet little town with a lot to see. 4 days was not enough to see everything in the area. I recommend the hotel to everyone, especially Hungarians.

They spared no expense and effort

The small dishes (Caprese and goulash soup) were good and good value for money. The tortellini (spinach) were not good at all. Unsalted, undercooked, cold and everything was completely covered by a dill sauce. An unusual combination anyway. It didn't help that it looked quite appetizing. The Czech waiter tried hard, but the criticism was too complicated for him. The cola is "no name" and unfortunately came uncooled at 30 degrees.

Indecent

Waiting to receive nothing for hours.
This is the traube.
When I pointed out my disapproval, the head of the waiters, an old and unpleasant gentleman, responded badly and with racism for the fact that I was Italian.
The evening was a continuous embarrassment of people who sat down and then got up annoyed

Friendly service, reasonable price!

So, I took a chance and booked this hotel despite the salty reviews (proximity!) and I’m so glad I did!
I don’t know what happened to those reviewers but my stay has been marked with kindness and attention. Breakfast is all fresh cappuccinos and offers to make eggs, omelettes, or sausages.
Any questions I’ve had about the area have been answered with attention and kindness. Every time I enter or leave there is smile ready for me.
The hotel restaurant is tasty, I ate there twice and both times I was satisfied. Also,
Admont is a little sleepy so don’t underestimate the fact that the hotel restaurant is almost always open for food and beer.
I’ve enjoyed my stay!
