Our home in the Montafon
We have now been to the Hotel Hirschen in Silbertal for the third time – and that actually speaks for itself. For us, it has become a place where we feel at home every single time.
The warmth of the entire team is truly exceptional.
From the owner down to the staff in service and housekeeping, everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. You can simply tell that work is done here with a lot of heart. Everyone always has a smile on their face. Perhaps that is exactly what is special about a family-run hotel – the Netzer family creates an atmosphere that you rarely find.
Our room with a balcony and the dreamlike view of the impressive mountain landscape was once again a real highlight. Waking up to this view in the morning is simply beautiful.
The entire hotel is extremely clean and very well-maintained.
The location is also perfect. The Kristbergbahn is located right next to the hotel and is the ideal starting point for hikes and excursions to the Kristberg and into the beautiful surroundings of the Montafon.
The breakfast is fresh, varied, and regional every morning. We find it especially nice that the egg dishes are freshly prepared and served individually upon request. The selection is large and varied – everyone really finds something here.
We had booked half-board and were spoiled every evening with an excellent 4-course meal. The dishes are high-quality, regional, and prepared with a lot of love – simply incredibly delicious.
A look at the à la carte menu also shows that no wishes are left unfulfilled here. You can taste that the food is freshly cooked and many dishes are homemade.
Although the hotel is not a classic family hotel, we felt warmly welcomed at all times with our four-year-old son and our baby. There are high chairs, toys, and delicious children's meals, so the little guests are also well taken care of. Many thoughtful details make the stay especially pleasant for families.
Dog owners are also well taken care of here. A lovingly prepared corner with bowls, blankets, and treats is already waiting in the room. Leaving the dog in the room is no problem at all. Those who prefer to take their four-legged friend with them to eat can do that as well. There are also numerous options for short and long walks right by the hotel. Especially nice is the path across from the hotel, which leads directly along a river and invites you to take relaxing walks.
Another plus point is the hotel's own parking lot as well as the beautiful wellness area with an indoor pool and sauna – perfect for relaxing after an active day in the mountains.
A real highlight are the afternoon treats. Whether fresh Kaiserschmarrn, apple strudel, waffles, or other delicacies – there is something for every taste here every afternoon.
We tried out various hotels in the Montafon a few years ago. However, Hotel Hirschen is the first one where we are truly completely satisfied in every respect. That is why we always enjoy coming back here – and for us, it is certain: Another hotel in the Montafon is no longer even an option.

One feels at home.
Super hotel, very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Well located right next to a ski lift. I dined one evening at the restaurant and it was very good.

Very nice, relaxing vacation.
Overall, it was very nice. Pleasant reception, friendly staff, beautiful rooms. The food was excellent.
It was also very good that you could bring your dog to eat with you. Of course, not in all rooms.
I just found it a bit unfortunate that you had to sit so separately because of that.
I felt a bit lost. On the terrace, it was of course not like that, as you sat with the other people.
But otherwise, I really recommend it.

Manche Hunde möchten nicht alleine im Zimmer bleiben und daher ist es bei uns möglich den Hund beim Essen mitzubringen. Aus hygienischen Gründen ist dies natürlich nicht in allen Räumen möglich, wie Sie selbst schreiben. Unser schöner lichtdurchfluteter Wintergarten ist für unsere Gäste mit vierbeinigem Liebling reserviert. Wir hoffen, dass Sie dies verstehen. Trotzdem versuchen wir immer allen unseren Gästen ein schönes Urlaubserlebnis zu schenken.
