⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfection in every respect – a real gem!

We have been coming here for years in winter and are always thrilled because everything is just right: Parking in front of the door, cozy, spacious rooms, spotless cleanliness throughout the house and the friendly, courteous team. But the special thing here is the Koch family, who run the hotel. They are not simply hosts – they are attentive, prudent and very warm. And they take care of every guest personally and with a lot of love every day.
Another highlight is the new chef (now son-in-law of the family). His food is not a mere tasting, but true art. Whether meat, fish, poultry, game or vegetarian – you can choose from the offer here and put together your own menu. And is impressed every time. It is definitely worth booking half board – eating alone would be a reason to go on holiday here.
This hotel is a place where you can truly find relaxation and tranquility – whether in the spacious spa area or on an active holiday. The lake is practically at the doorstep, and there are countless opportunities to do some activity: Ice skating, hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing or simply taking a walk in the fresh air around the lake – everyone will find something for themselves here.
At this point, a big thank you to the Koch family and their entire team for the wonderful hospitality! It's always a pleasure to be with you. We are already looking forward to the next stay. ❤️

The hotel was simply overpriced

I was there for the second time with a tour group. The welcome from the Koch family was great. The food and service were also great. But paying €3.70 for a cup of coffee and €9 for a pot of coffee is just too much. I think it was too long to have to wait 5 minutes for hot water in the shower. Only when I told Mr Koch in a very serious tone did he turn it on properly. Everything was much better the first time in 2021

Group travel

A very nice family-run hotel. You feel like you're at home.
The staff and service are simply top notch.
The food is prepared with local products and tastes delicious.
The rooms are well furnished and the beds are excellent

A perfect start for sports at the Weissensee

This hotel is a nice place, well equiped and with a perfect kitchen for travellers who want to visit the area of the Weissensee, a place for skating, langlauf, cycling and a lot of other sportive moments.
The bar is cosy, the food is excellent and the people friendly. Who could ask for more?

Feeling like home on vacation

My stay at Gasthof Weissensee was overall amazing!
The rooms are newly renovated and make you feel like home as soon as you walk through the door. Same as the warm and friendly staff.
The breakfast has a really big variety or different food, including homemade and traditional goods. Dinner was always delicious.
Everything in the small town is within walking distance, but there's also a bus transportation that can take you around town.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature, hiking, skiing, ice skating, swimming, relaxing and good food.
If you like hotels that are warm and cozy while on vacation this is the perfect spot :)
