New Year 2023/24

We visited as part of a Leger coach tour. The owner and his son both went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay. The rooms were of a very high standard and the bathrooms were stunning. As we were part of a group, we didn't get chance to choose from the menu but from what we saw the food looked amazing and plentiful. Our food was good but we had no choice and there wasn't much on the plate. The New Year's Eve gala dinner was 6 courses and it was lovely. Really hope to visit here again.

Change hotels.

A completely forgettable experience from the very beginning. On a scorching hot day, you arrive at the hotel hoping for some relief, but instead, you find an oven without air conditioning and a wobbly portable fan trying to cool the room. Windows exposed to the sun with no possibility of a proper blackout curtain. Stifling heat... absolutely not recommended. The four stars exist only on paper (just like the Italian channels that are not visible). No possibility to change the room despite the request. I do not know where the renovated rooms mentioned in some reviews are located.

The hotel was in a great position opposite the railway station which has great connections.
I would say more of a 3* not 4*
Walter was a lovely host and made you feel welcome.
We travelled with Leger coach tours, should have upgraded to luxurious.
The food was very disappointing, not much of it, presentation was very poor.
No choice was given.
The dining room and breakfast room was cold looking considering it was new year little effort for decorations.
It lacked a bar and lounge area to sit and socialise.
The rooms were basic but very clean and lovely shower.
No tea or coffee facilities.
I’m sorry to say l would not return by choice.

Poor

What a horrible old hotel. Not at all a 4-star. 2 stars rather. Meal too peppery and despite having asked for 1 quiet room I was in front of the station and my room was mediocre [101]. I will never go back because I have a very bad memory.

Very good surprise

It's not easy to find hotels that accommodate us as well when we're a group of 50 people. Excellent welcome mulled wine, very comfortable and non-noisy rooms despite the proximity to the station. The owners are very friendly
