Urlaub in Tirol bei tollem Wetter

Wir hatten uns diesmal für Tirol und konkret für das Hotel Metzgerwirt in Fieberbrunn entschieden. Familiäre Atmosphäre, schöne ruhige Lage im Ortskern, gemütliche Zimmer und ein toller Pool hinterm Haus mit schöner Grünanlage ringsum. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub.

Skipackage holiday

Good:
Cosy restaurang
Good/nice beds
Very nice rooms, some of them with a small sittingbath
Near to the skisbus. Next stop is at the bergbahn/liftstation
Nice little bar!
No good:
No wifi worked during the hole time (6 days)
Expensive drinks to be at a 3 star hotell. 4 euro 50 cl coke.
Slippery way to the skiroom, no one was taking care/sanded the way
No taken off the snow at the parkingarea, it came 80 cm during 2 days and they left it to us/nature
No hot water in the showers during one afternoon after skiing!
Exactly the same breakfast everyday, nothing new, no sweets (like crossiant)
Coffe not good! To light/weak
The dinners are nothing extra, just what you expected, nothing more.

No common sense (just restaurant)

We went for a diner,2 kids age 2 and 4 and my wife. When they asked for drinks the second round I asked them about when our pizza and schnitzel would be served. We had to wait more than an hour. Pizza’s were all not our tast (oké can happen, but never happend before) schnitzel not eatable. Desert really looking beautifull but we were running out of time, so a no go.
We did ask the waitress why we had to wait with 2 little kids for more than an hour for a pizza and schnitzel , and everyone around us, later arriving already had diner. Can happen, sorry was the only short answer. Nevertheless our complaints about the food and 50% retour kitchen we had to pay the full bill.

good experiance

Charming restaurant with very helpful staff ! The lovely lady serving us added to the feel-good feeling, and the food was good. Lovely mixed-grill plate, and affordable wines. Hope to go back some time.

Pleasant traditional restaurant

We had tradition Austrian dishes one a schnitzel (pork in bread crumbs) and another which was boiled meat pork and fried potatoes. Both were tasty and accompanied by a salad and fries. Drinks where small but overall we are happy. We may return again
