Uneven treatment
After dinner, we noticed that the padel court was completely free, so we went to reception and asked if we could rent rackets and play a round. The receptionist told us that it was already closed and that we could play the next day. We accepted this without any argument and left to go and see the horses.
On our way back, we were extremely surprised to see other guests playing on the supposedly “closed” padel court. Confused and annoyed, I went back to reception and asked why other people were allowed to play when we had just been told that the court was closed.
The answer was even more frustrating: the receptionist told me that she had “made an exception” for them and that we could play after they had finished.
Seriously? We were standing there earlier, the court was empty, and we specifically asked to play. We were told no because it was “closed.” Then, shortly afterwards, other guests were apparently given an exception and allowed to play.
This is not about whether we could eventually play after them. It is about being treated differently without any understandable reason and being given information that was apparently not actually true. If exceptions can be made, why were we not offered the same exception when we asked first and the court was completely empty?
This left us feeling very unfairly treated and seriously affected our impression of the service at Aldiana Club Ampflwang. Guests should be treated consistently and equally, rather than being told something is closed only to discover shortly afterwards that an exception has been made for someone else.
