Gluten-free family paradise at Dachstein

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to eat gluten-free and wants to have a carefree time. I have never before experienced a hotel that has dealt so comprehensively, competently, and attentively with gluten-free nutrition.
The care, knowledge, and many additional steps taken to ensure my safety and enjoyment deeply impressed me. At the breakfast table, there was already a special stand for me, where I could choose my gluten-free dinner menu. Furthermore, for breakfast, not only bread or rolls were available, but also waffles and pancakes. The selection of gluten-free cakes and pastries in the afternoon was amazing.
I not only felt well taken care of, but truly understood and looked after – a feeling that one rarely experiences as a guest with special dietary needs.
As a highlight, the children were also happy at all times due to the numerous play opportunities.

Disappointing hotel

Unfortunately, we cannot share the positive reviews. It is one in many. Part of the hotel is very dated. The interior design is very unusually thrown together. We found the dining situation very unsatisfactory! The advertised 4-course menu was not available on any day, but rather a Greek, American, or French buffet with very questionable and not really tasty dishes. The cake buffet has also become very questionable, where cake from the evening buffet from two days ago was offered. The beverage station greeted us at an outside temperature of over 32 degrees with the information that bottles may not be refilled. On the last two days, there was then only water left. Any juices were no longer available. The facilities (torn awning, crooked fence, very worn playground equipment) also need more love.
Too bad, the location is great, but we did not feel comfortable at all.

Tour of Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Clean and nice. Good beds.
A little warm room(hot wave), a little traffic noise, since we had windows open. Be sure to book partall rooms, away from the road.
Breakfast 100% good.
I'd love to come back.

Family winter stay

It was a very nice stay. Very close to the ski area, and the food was very good. My celiac daughter had everything she needed. I highly recommend this hotel.
