Simply TOP

We were invited to a 60th birthday party otherwise we would never have "found" it. A great location, great view and the food was amazing. The service (Gabi and Sandra) was first class, friendly and quick. The two waiters were also great.

Service in restaurant perfect. Beds disaster. Reception rude

The service in the restaurant was very accommodating. Rooms clean , view perfect. However, the beds disastrous! The mattresses sag completely. You had the feeling of sleeping on the floor! Upholstery very uncomfortable. The overnight stay was covered with a voucher. I gave the voucher to my partner for his birthday. He was paid. Since I had unfortunately forgotten in at home, we were treated, at the reception quite unfriendly. Although I could show that he was debited from my account. And of course I will send the voucher immediately! Can't you book the voucher like that? Or note that it has already been redeemed? Very incomprehensible to me.
I travel around the world a few times , have experienced such an unfriendly way.

Wedding guest with overnight stay

We were at a wedding on the Eidenberger Alm. Agape/reception was nice, dinner was delicious and it went very quickly. Unfortunately, the waitress (waitress was friendly) were not particularly great.. did not greet them, a friend did not sit together and left it for her husband. She said to the waiter, please don't clean this up. He said: if the cutlery is right, then I'll leave it...
What kind of statement is that? Many who are not from the gastro don't even know such a thing...
I had my little daughter by the arm where I was “pushed” aside by a waiter...without excuse or anything else
The rooms are old but clean. We had a room facing south, at 35 degrees it would have been clever for the staff to at least close the curtains.
All in all, I was very disappointed and find the grandiose reputation exaggerated.

Nice stay.

We spent one night at the Eidenberger Alm including Diner 4 Two. The room was spacious and clean. Also the bathroom large, clean and without mold stains. The tiles probably date from the 70s of the last century. The view from the balcony may be breathtaking. Unfortunately, during our visit the entire landscape has hidden behind thick fog.
The diner was just wonderful. The menuezi composition fit perfectly. The beef tartare, for example, was actually chopped and not fazed. Just delicious. The lamb was wonderfully soft, but could have been a little hotter. Served by 2 competent gentlemen with discreet reproach. We can absolutely recommend the Alm

The kitchen performance was terrible.

My rating concerns only the kitchen performance: There were 8 of us and we were very disappointed with the "kitchen performance". The pickled schnitzel was acceptable; the breaded asparagus was incredibly thick and unpeeled! The roast pork does not deserve the name; a sloppy, lukewarm meat was swimming in a beige, indefinable soup that had never seen a roast before. The greaves dumplings were swimming in the same horrible soup! They were sloppy, completely soaked things.
I recommend that the kitchen team visit the Schwarzen Schiff in Linz, for example, to learn how a dumpling should be served!
