Stayed one night, mainly due to how close the hotel is to the train station. My room on the 2nd floor was gereally fine. Nice size room, comfy bed, good shower and very clean.
There were a couple of oddities. First, there was no bedside table or stand or shelf. I've never stayed in a hotel without a bedside table or shelf. This meant there was nowhere to place a glass of water or my phone by the bed, and also meant there was no bedside lamp. Second oddity was that I had a corner room with windows on two sides. Both windows had a venetian style blind on the outside which could be swivelled as needed. But only one of the windows had curtains on the inside, which was strange. Surely if going to the effort of installing curtains, install them on both sides?
Also that annoying thing in Germany/Austria/etc of only providing one pillow. There really should be two or three pillows provided, so that guests can choose how many they want instead of having just one pillow forced on them.
There's nothing really wrong with this hotel, and I was pleased with my stay and pleased with the price I paid. They just need to acquire some bedside tables!

Excellent value for money
Right off the bat: The biggest plus of this hotel is the location in the middle of Graz. 3 minutes walk from the train station and in 10 minutes you are in the center. The staff was very friendly and accommodating towards us. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The breakfast offered is varied and good. The rooms are a bit small and therefore the beds are quite narrow and short. WiFi and flat screen is available, but unfortunately no safe and no fridge. The view is unfortunately not very uplifting at a city hotel and despite the soundproof windows you can hear the passing tram early in the morning. Nevertheless, the good overall impression prevails.

A disaster. Especially the receptionist. Not to be outdone in unkindness.

Booked, only 15 minutes later I wanted to cancel due to parking problems. The receptionist referred me to Booking.com believing that I would be refunded the amount. But then I was charged the full amount and I was also called stupid.
Such methods of obtaining money are bold. Precisely because it was only 15 minutes, you should be more cult. Of course not an Austrian company, we would not have such a thing.

Practical for visitors
A 5-min walk from the train station will take you to this hotel located on the street leading straight to the old Linz (15-min walk).
Check-in is after 2 pm but you can leave your luggage in a locked room if arriving early. My basic room for 1 person, on the first floor, was simple and clean but facing the busy street, which sees many trams during the day, not going quieter until 8 pm (tram stop practically right beside hotel).
The bed was large, comfortable and came with 2 pillows and a duvet cover (no flat sheet). Bathroom was fine with towels, soap and blow dryer. The shower had no door, just a glass wall, and this meant that the water spread beyond the shower area, taking a while for the floor to dry. Tv and wifi worked well. No little fridge. I did not hear the neighbors.
The hotel offered breakfast ($) but I did not try it. A few steps away was a grocery store (Billa).
Overall, a convenient place, clean and comfortable. It does have an elevator. Reception was efficient. Staff was polite and welcoming.

Excellent B&b Graz Hbf
Some reviews that are negative here I cannot understand.
Okay I would have a not so clean room already, but hey, no human and no robot are perfect.
The breakfast is very large brisk and very good, the reception and staff very nice and friendly.
They try to fulfill every wish if possible.
Anytime again and only B&b.
