A charming and stylish masterpiece.

Kontor Boutiquehotel is a very stylish and beautifully renovated property. The owner is very friendly and rightly proud of her masterpiece. Our apartment was impeccably clean and comfortable. We were especially impressed by the brilliant renovation and interior design features. There is safe and secure parking with easy access to an elevator. My wife and I also enjoyed walking around and exploring the beautiful village of Hall in Tirol. It is also an easy (and free) bus ride to Innsbruck. A wonderful experience in every way.

A gem from a boutique hotel!

Very nice, noble-purist renovated old town house (former Kontor / Salz!) in Hall in Tirol with 5 rooms / or suite. - Lift.
Central location, easy access, 3 hotel parking spaces in front of the house.
Uncomplicated handling from reservation to check-in and check-out (check-in via code + key, as only a few rooms).
Attractive breakfast buffet, very nice and helpful staff!
Good value for money!
Ideal starting point for various excursions: Hall and surrounding places, Innsbruck, Karwendel etc.
We felt very comfortable!

Impeccably beautiful but one problem

Gorgeous hotel - beautifully renovated old building, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast - this place is truly enjoyable. A true pleasure.
2 gripes: while I understand it’s a very small hotel, it’s a bit annoying to have to fiddle with keys just as one is arriving because no one is on the premises.
But the bigger gripe is this: summers in Central Europe are now hot. Simply hot. Maybe not at higher locations in the Alps, but definitely so in the Inn Valley. To newly renovate a hotel and not include A/C is in my view not feasible. It’s borderline reckless. I understand and appreciate that German-speaking Europe is more energy and climate conscious than other places, but there are solutions - rooftop solar panels, geothermal..

Stylish boutique hotel

Stunning room in refurbished old building. High quality, stylish and sympathetic modernisation. Excellently breakfast. Very friendly owner and staff. Located in central Hall im Tirol. Convenient parking available nearby excellent restaurant recommended

A Gem of a Hotel in Hall in Tirol.

The last 3 weeks we have been traveling around Europe & staying in many quaint inns. But the Kontor Boutique Hotel is a stand out from the rest. The hotel is a unique blend of modern & old. The owners Ursula & Marek painstakingly refurbished the rooms while preserving much of the beauty of the past. The floors & intricate 18th century ceilings still exist. We stayed in the baroque room which was sunny, clean & was suppled with everything we needed. Next to the elevator on the first floor is an exposed 13th century wall. You can see the attention to detail everywhere you look.
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet in the cheerful breakfast room. As a bonus, from the plentiful buffet, Ursula even cooked fresh scrambled eggs for us.
The location of the Kontor is perfect. The building is actually part of the old city wall. Walk out the door & the narrow winding roads will greet you. We are told it is the largest old town in the Tirol region.
All and all, if you are visiting Hall in Tirol, the Kontor Boutique Hotel is a must!
