Beautiful stay

We had the most wonderful experience - the room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no noise. It's very quaint, things are small BUT it's an old building and the owners have done a lovely job on renovation. It was clean and the perfect place to enjoy a bit of down time in the evenings. One day it rained and it was a great place to hang out for the day and just relax too.

We enjoyed our visit in hallstat

The room was very small, the ligth in the bathroom all the time shut down.
The shuttle didn't come to take as back to the parking and no one was in reception to help us

Fabulous stay!

We had a fabulous stay here. When we had train nightmares arriving, the staff were so helpful in telling us how we could arrive and providing the number for a taxi. The hotel itself is old and quaint and beautiful. It’s right on the water, so the views from the balcony were unreal. It was so nice to be able to sit on the balcony and not see any tourists below but get to fully enjoy the lake and mountains.
Finally, the breakfast was amazing! Fresh food, fresh coffee, we looked forward to it each morning. On our last morning when we had to leave before breakfast, the staff made us some sandwiches to go!
Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and we loved the vibe of such an old building.

So So

Good location . But the facility is old and not so comfortable . Unique and special as it is 700 years old . Good view of the lake from our unit . Breakfast was a bit disappointing. How er staff were friendly and warmth . Toilet is not so ideal as it is small and cramped .
