Highly recommended, simply great

"We had a very pleasant stay at the Gasthof Pension Posthansl in Heiterwang. The room was modern, very clean, and offered a great view of the mountains from the balcony. The staff was very nice and helpful in every respect. The breakfast was very rich, delicious, and definitely nothing was missing. We can also highly recommend dinner at the in-house restaurant – great local cuisine! The perfect starting point for hikes or bike tours in the region!

Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Gasthof Posthansl. The hostess spoke perfect Dutch; she even turned out to have a connection to Antwerp. We felt right at home immediately. The hotel is in excellent condition—very well-maintained and tidy, with tasteful and cozy décor. The children's playroom is fantastic, as is the large garden. The view is stunning, set amidst high mountains. Our dog was welcome, too. We highly recommend this hotel!

A nice staging post!

Perfect stopping point on the way south. Blissfully coming home to the Tyrolean mountains, a good and neat room, a good kitchen. We will definitely be back!

LIttle gem on near the Austrian - German border

If you are looking for a lovely family-run hotel near the German/Austrian border and also get a feeling of the Tiroler mountains, Posthansl is the the place to go to.
From the first email, paying the deposit, last-minute questions, you'll get the right treatment here.
Upon arrival you are met by the very friendly family and it is like that during the entire stay. They are at your disposal, and always with a big smile.
I travelled with my dog and I was very pleased she was allowed to join me for breakfast and dinner. Speaking of dinner, as a vegetarian, I did not have to eat the same dish twice (I could If I wanted to). Everything delicious and prepared with care.
The hotel is ideally located and you really don't need your car while you are there. So many easy, moderate and hard walks all around.

We really enjoyed it.

Very friendly welcome by the attentive hostess. Great room, hygienic tiptop in order.
