Treat Yourself in Kitzbühel
This hotel is lovely. It is run by Guido and Renate Hinterseer. The view from my room was one of the gondola lift lines; stunningly beautiful. The common areas are full of family and ski memorabilia from days gone by. The staff was great; friendly and extremely attentive. The breakfast was delicious. And best of all, ski-in and out and walkable from the train station. Give them a try next time you are in Kitzbühel.

Gorgeous stay in Kitzbuhel
Fabulous stay at Pension Hinterseer for our ski trip to Kitzbuhel. We felt at home from the moment we arrived - the guest house is immaculately clean, comfortable and well looked after. Our room had a lovely balcony and view of the mountains and cable car passing by. Breakfast each morning was very nice and set us up for the day skiing including eggs cooked to your liking. The views from the breakfast room are beautiful. We were warmly hosted by the Hinterseer family and staff member Eva who looked after us so well. It is a short 10min walk into the centre of Kitzbuhel - the walk back is uphill but it was no problem for us. Very much recommend Pension Hinterseer.

The classic place to stay in Kitzbuhel
This place is a classic in an AMAZING location. Best location in town. Ski In Ski Out under the gondola. EASY walk to town. Clean nice room. Nice Ski Room. Great Breakfast. The Hinterseer Family are skiing legends in Kitzbhel and run a great Inn in a fabulous location. Not overly fancy... but we love that.

A fantastic week!
My partner and I stayed here for a week skiing. Would definitely come back - the rooms are lovely, breakfast is superb, location is fantastic and the hospitality of Guido and Kerstin was just perfect!

Exemplary accommodation and service
This family-run pension is top-notch. The pension, in the style of a chalet, is immaculately clean, well located, and extremely cozy.
The family members are the Staff, who are so nice and accommodating. Always smiling, a pleasure to talk to, and doing their best to ensure your stay is as good as can be. Their hospitality was welcoming and exemplary. (Also, quite cool that the family name is a legend in its own right, being of Olympic Games stock. Loved the pictures and memorabilia found throughout the pension.)
The chalet is four floors. The bottom-most floor has a mud room / heating room for you ski equipment, which was so nice to have available. The main floor is where you eat breakfast, and it's also where you can sit down and relax in front of a large fireplace with a wonderful fire and enjoy the views of the countryside and town. The upper two floors are the rooms. My room was somewhat basic, but oh so comfortable, and it had a small private patio/balcony with chairs overlooking the town. The entire pension is very clean and cozy feeling.
Breakfast selection is decent, with typical (and tasty) European foods such as breads, cold cuts, cheeses, jams, OJ, milk, coffee, and they'll ask you if you want eggs.
Location is great. Ski in / skit out. Five to ten minute walk into the heart of the city.
Overall a super fantastic stay. I'd certainly return. The family's hospitality alone made my stay enjoyable. The family dog and cat were also fun to have around.
