K&K - Time travel

Very nice and correct, is like a journey through time - to the imperial era. Slept well, everything was clean. The proximity to the center is ideal.

Old-fashioned hotel close to the Innenstadt

The hotel is located pretty close to the old town (ten minutes on foot to the main square) and should be the perfect choice for all those who want to take a trip down memory lane to the days of the last Habsburg emperors. The decorations have a very pronounced theme, concentrating on the final decades of Austria-Hungary. The atmosphere of late 19th century is very convincing but don't let it discourage you, the bathrooms are modern, large and full of light while the beds sizeable and comfortable so if you plan to visit Klagenfurt it may be a good choice, something just slightly unconventional.

Good value for money

Arrived there with family of 3, the lady at the reception was very kind to help us find a suitable parking spot, she spoke very good English and was happy to assist us with anything we required (albeit not a lot). The hotel looked and felt a bit outdated but in part that was the charm of it. You didn't get quite the same feeling in the rooms. Much to our surprise they looked rather fresh, the bathroom was very nice and the whole place was squeaky clean. Bed was large and comfortable.
I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the cluttered decor. Other than that it was exactly what we were expecting.

Old hotel in goog location

Traveling with Family for few days in Klagenfurt. Staff was ok, hotel is clean but very old. Rooms are in good conditions, bathrooms also ok. Brekfest was good. I little annoying was smell in hallway!

Hotel with a hint of past

The hotel had a good location, close to the centre of town. Unfortunately the town bell also was located there.....and it hit my ear every hour, also during the night. Get a room to the back side of hotel.
Art decco style in hotel, 80's style on owner - a time travel.
OK breakfast in the basement.
A OK place for 1-2 nights, but not any longer.....
