Short but sweet visit

Booking on short notice resulted in this fortunate outcome: Hotel Alpina had two rooms for us, Erich was easy and accommodating over the phone, the price sounded right, so our first impression was perfect, even before we arrived.
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly Maria and Erich, who graciously invited my mother to spend the time before our room was ready at the lounge - a somewhat haphazardly furnished room full of good intentions - and good games, too - though.
Our rooms were comfortable and well maintained - nothing lavish or fancy, just fit for the purpose. Meals were the highlight of our stay: carefully stocked buffet for breakfast, with coffee far exceeding my expectations for Austria. Dinners were meticulously prepared: both the buffet on Sunday and the set meals on the other days seemed to feature high quality, locally sourced ingredients. I fell in love with the outstanding fresh leafy salads but the memory of Erich’s soups, goat cheese and tiramisu will also be cherished.
The sauna is lovely and the location of the place, just steps from the skilift is unbeatable. Thank you, Maria and Erich, your care and attention made us feel welcome and want to return soon.

A perfect holiday

In June we spent 10 wonderful days together with our grandson here. The hotel was recommended by acquaintances. A very good tip. We felt comfortable from the beginning. Maria, Erich and the entire team welcomed us with a great warmth, so that immediately a feel-good atmosphere was created. Everything is lovingly organized. Breakfast, afternoon coffee, dinner menu - all fresh and very delicious. Not to mention the barbecue evening with marshmallow barbecues and for the little one a surprise from the treasure chest.
The room (type C family suite) was very spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
We would like to thank Maria, Erich and the whole team for this all-round successful holiday - we would love to come back.

Drei-Sterne-Familien-Hotel direkt bei der Talsstation eines 6-er Sessellifts.
Feine schöne saubere Zimmer, Schischuhraum mit Schuhheizung. 4 Personenlift vom Keller bis in den 3. Stock. Absperrbarer Schistall vor dem Haus. Sauna im Keller, Lounge mit Billardtisch. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut, reichhaltig, nicht übertrieben, dem Hotelpreis angepasst. Gleiches gilt fürs Abendessen. Liebevoll angerichtet und sehr gut. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Aber das für mich ziemlich das Wichtigste. Gastfreundschaft pur, familiere Geborgenheit, unaufdringlich äußerst nettes Personal, zu jedem freundlich egal welcher Nationalität. Für Hauptsaison frühes Buchen notwendig. Schnell alle Zimmer belegt. Absolut empfehlenswert. Gerne wieder!

Hyggeligt hotel med fantastisk service

Vi havde 7 dage med fuld forplejning. Hyggelige værelser og god Østrigsk mad. Værterne og det øvrige personale er nærværende og imødekommende på alle tidspunkter. Vi har holdt ferie der tidligere og man møder flere gæster, der kommer igen og igen.
Det var ikke vores sidste besøg.
