Top location , bus stop to the ski area almost outside the door.

Super experience, top address

family hotel, 24 rooms, super friendly, great cuisine, very nice room / suite, squat, bus station on the doorstep, in the quiet Huben, central in the Ötztal, small wellness, absolute must for those who prefer the quiet.

A hotel that does not live up to expectations...

We stayed at the Genusshotel Alpenblick during the Christmas holidays that just ended; husband _ wife and 2 girls aged 12 and 14. Very clean and well furnished hotel _ welcoming and pleasant sauna and Turkish bath area _ friendly owners and staff even if few speak English and not so much as to be able to understand each other even on the basic notions of hospitality. (no one able to speak or understand Italian).
In our opinion, the breakfast service is not up to the 4 stars and the overall price: lacking both in terms of quantity and variety of the dishes offered (the only dessert was brioches, and in any case of medium quality) and lacking in not wanting refresh what ended up on the buffet even though we were in the dining room before eight in the morning.
The dishes and dishes for dinner are of quality but always at the expense of quantity which we do not find to be suitable even for a "normally hungry" family like ours.
With the half board service I would have expected water with the meal included in the price, and in any case paying €6 for a bottle of still water I consider it really excessive.
A positive note is the agreement that allows a 10% discount on Aqua Dome Therme entrance tickets if booked by the Hotel.
We will definitely return to Oetztal but no longer to the Genusshotel Alpenblick.

Summer in Huben

Located in the village center of Huben, a district of Langenfeld. Rooms are okay. Breakfast is very good and every morning there is a special menu with egg dishes. Also a fresh smoothie every day. With half board there is a 5-course menu, a choice of 3 main courses and 3 desserts. Very tasty dishes, nice wines.
There is a wellness area on the third floor.
Very good price-quality ratio.

Nice but not 4*

Nice hotel, with small sauna and quite good restaurant.
We spent a week there with our children.
But not a 4* hotel.
They advertise a 4 course menu. It was usually a salad buffet, a supper and a main course, sometimes a small dessert.
No soap or shower gel in the bathroom... we asked for it, but they said it was included only on the first day.
