Great for groups if you want to keep costs low

Not a fancy hotel, but it has everything what you need, and the prices are more than friendly. Personnels are very friendly, and they are very flexible about arriving times and everything. It has a big, well equipped kitchen, which was a big pro when we've come to the accomodation search. Only downside is the railway which is just next to the rooms, so you can hear the trains even at 11pm.

Cheap accommodation in the Semmering Area

Stayed here with a group of friends and all I can say that this is a decent choise for those who are looking for a cheap stay while having the opportunity to choose from multiple popular ski regions.
Langenwang - The little town where the accomodation is, not so far from Vienna (the capital), is literally a step away from the highway. Because of this reason, you can reach the two most popular (Stuhleck and Zauberg) ski resorts in the Semmering area in just minutes from here. It is situated in a valley and has its own ski resort (Lammeralm).
Gästedorf Waldheimart - The accommodation is just a few meters away from a small brook which is very nice - but across the brook is a railway which can be unexpectedly loud in the evenings. The houses are made of thin wood but it was never cold not even during the coldest nights. Each room has its own bathroom that was just as clean as we can expect it from an austrian accommodation. There are also two kitchens for the whole "dorf" which are well-equipped.
The dorf is next to a supermarket, so you can buy basically anything you need for the rest.
To sum it up, the place totally worths its price. Considerable choice for groups and youngsters, or anyone who would like to find a cheap but decent accommodation in the Semmering region.

Extrem einfacher Durchschnitt für kleines Geld

Weil alle Pensionen im Umkreis ausgebucht waren und wir nicht 140€ im Krainer bezahlen wollten, haben wir hier ein Doppelzimmer mit Bad gebucht. 47€ gesamt.
Klingt wenig, aber auch verdammt spartanisch und einfach.
Netter Checkin bzw Einführung. Zimmer mit knarrendem Holzboden, unser Zimmer direkt am Eingang zum Gemeinschaftsraum, dh gute Geräuschkulisse.
Bett sehr durchgelegen, Handtücher klein, aber sauber.
Im Bad quoll die Türzarge auseinander, weil ein Duschvorhang hier das Wasser nicht aufhällt. Fliegengitter im Bad defekt und löchrig.
Für eine Nacht so gerade ok, aber länger no way. Sauber ja, hellhörig auch. Zugtrasse verläuft an der Rückseite bzw ist es morgens, sobald andere wach sind, recht laut.
Bessere Pensionen kosten auch nur 55€.

sehr preisgünstig! Kein Luxus, aber alles da und sauber!

Anfahrt leicht zu finden, allerdings sollte die Zufahrt in das Gästedorf besser beschildert sein. Eincheck sehr einfach, sehr freundlich, kurze Einführung in das Gästedorf. Zimmer 2 Stockbetten, waren bereits überzogen. Zur Abreise sollte man die Bettwäsche selber abnehmen. Ausreichend Handtücher, allerdings rochen die etwas komisch. Waren aber sauber. Eventuell anderes Waschmittel verwenden?. Bad in Ordnung. Die Duschwände gehen doch zu! Sogar Seifen waren da. Gut eingeheizt, alles in Ordnung. Es gibt Gemeinschaftsräume, Küchen, Schiräume, Sportmöglichkeiten, etc. Für diesen Preis äußerst gut! Sehr gerne weiter zu empfehlen!
