Idyll by the lake

The beach hotel Habich is run as a family business with tradition.
We had a very nice room with a balcony and lake view - one could enjoy the beautiful view already in the morning.
Away from the
tourist hustle and bustle, one feels very comfortable - the garden is lovingly designed and well-maintained, the terrace with a view of the lake invites you to linger, even in the afternoon for coffee, aperitif, and small dishes.
Employee Lisa feels like a family member, pure warmth.
There is direct access to the lake and a very nice sunbathing area with a dock.
For me, the days at the beach hotel were very relaxing, with beautiful nature and loving service.

Nothing has changed since the last review, exterior mirror for the larks, interior remained to 1970.

Once and never again

This hotel is a bottomless sass. The staff are absolutely unfriendly. The rooms are small and dark I felt like I was in a prison. The food home cooking that didn't taste good. The only positive there was a large sunbathing area and a matching lake access. Otherwise, this is a total flop.

To be restructured

Seen from the outside, the hotel makes a nice impression, especially the garden and the direct access to the lake.
Once inside you realize that the rooms are outdated, the room has old and smelly carpets and curtains, there is no aerator in the bathroom and there is only one soap dispenser in the shower cabin.
The price of breakfast and dinner are identical (€18.00 per person), to pay for extras they do not accept cash or credit cards but only bank transfer via IBAN.

Schöne Lage am Wörthersee

Die Gartenanlage würde 5 Sterne verdienen. Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel sehen wir aber beim Essen noch etwas Luft nach oben. Es gibt von allem reichlich, aber es fehlte der Überraschungseffekt. Die Frühstücksbrötchen waren nicht die frischestens auf unserer Reise. Die Zimmer sind gross mit schöner Aussicht auf den See, Dusche war etwas klein, aber ok.
