A very nice vacation in the Wachau.
A hotel run with a lot of love and passion, which invites you to feel at home with its numerous loving details. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally warm atmosphere of the family-run mother-daughter hotel. The hosts and the entire staff are incredibly attentive and fulfill every guest's wish with genuine kindness and personal commitment.
The tastefully decorated rooms, designed with great attention to detail, impress not only with their charm but also with impeccable cleanliness—many 5-star hotels could learn a thing or two from here.
Another highlight is the excellent and extremely rich breakfast buffet featuring high-quality regional products. The personal service from the owner and the entire team makes breakfast something truly special and ensures that every guest feels thoroughly pampered.
We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

A home away from home
I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel was spotless and beautiful. The room my sister and I stayed in was so clean and homey. The view was spectacular and every time I looked out my window or walked outside, it took my breath away. From my room I could see the mountains and the river. The owner of the hotel and the staff were so kind and so helpful. The service was at top tear level. The room was cleaned daily. The breakfast is included and delicious. So many different varieties to chose from. It is the perfect location. Near castle, ruins, the Melk Abbey, etc. So many towns near by that you can explore and if you need any help, ask the owner of the establishment. She is absolutely wonderful. There is a supermarket a minute walk away from the hotel and you are also less than a minute walk from the river. It is such a peaceful and quiet place that there is no noise level. Very good value. It is a home away from home.

Hostesses with heart
Warmly welcomed by Mrs Mandl and her mother, we felt at home in the Donauhof from the first moment. Also from Ivan, the cuddly domestic dog and from Mimi the domestic cat we were received very friendly. The room on the first floor was lovingly decorated and equipped with extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom is spacious, equipped with very good quality toiletries. Everything is sparkling and is straightened again during breakfast.
Speaking of breakfast: There's really nothing wrong here. Delicious honeys, jams, fresh sausage, complemented by numerous other excellent savoury and sweet treats (see pictures).
Only about 50m from the hotel is the sandy Danube beach, which invites you to take a refreshing dip. Wonderful with the 34° we had for 5 days.
Nearby a very good 'Heuriger' (Hermenegild Mang).
We felt the 5 days really at home and were totally delighted with the warm hospitality.

A wonderful holiday in the Wachau
We felt very comfortable in the nice, owner-managed Hotel Donauhof in Weißenkirchen. Mother and daughter Mandl are charming and attentive hosts who looked after us wonderfully. The location right next to a beautiful beach on the Danube is perfect for a stay with children. The rooms are beautiful and very well maintained and the breakfast buffet is delicious and varied. We will definitely be back!

Congrats! Frau Mandl!
Super location. Frau Mandl is the best in terms of customer care. Brilliant breakfast, cosy atmpsphere and very friendly rooms. Close to the Danube river. The wine is fantastic, lot of nice places where you can stay and drink some wine. Anytime back!
