Very kind people, high-quality service, first-class gastronomy and wines.

A very beautiful hotel, very friendly service, the rooms are very nice, and the breakfast service is very courteous and of high quality. We were on a cycling tour — the hotel had bicycle storage and charging facilities. It also has its own small wine cellar where you can enjoy local wines, which were very delicious.

Gem in the Wachau - Those who seek the extraordinary will find it.

We stayed for the third time at the hotel “Weinquadrat” and enjoyed our stay very much.
The hotel is quietly located directly on the Danube cycle path and nearby you will find a supermarket and a beautiful Heurigen. In the backyard of the charming hotel we were able to park our bikes in a covered area.
The owners – Toni and Gisi – and the entire “Wine Square” team take perfect care of their guests in their always friendly and courteous manner. We felt welcome here from the first minute and felt at home. As unique as the staff of the hotel are, so grand is hospitality of the host family.
Breakfast we could take mostly on the fantastic terrace. An exceptionally extensive breakfast offer with local products and homemade cakes as well as spreads and the comfortably equipped and cozy rooms with a feel-good atmosphere rounded off our stay and left nothing to be desired.
We really liked the garden area, where you can make yourself comfortable in hammocks, on sun loungers or simply sitting in the shade of a large tree.
Thank you again for your incredible hospitality. With a tear in our hearts we leave this magnificent gem and are already looking forward to our next holiday with you.

A lovely clean & friendly hotel.

We stayed 2 nights, which were faultless. The hotel is very clean & the rooms spacious.
Breakfast again was perfect & enjoyed either in the bright dining room or sun terrace.
Great location for wine tours & 2 minutes walk to restaurants in the village.

Guest is really a guest here

My wife and I have not been as impressed as we were in this hotel for a long time. Not only were the owners and all the staff extremely friendly, but they were also up for a chat. The hotel is so quiet - you can't hear the neighbors or any other noises. No street noise, etc. - The next positive thing we noticed was the exceptional cleanliness. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires and every wish is fulfilled immediately. We just say wow and will definitely come back.

Wonderful visit in every way

Wonderful few days here. Gisela and Anton could not have been more service oriented — went out of their way to ensure we rented good electric bikes, enjoyed excellent local restaurants, experienced all the region’s highlights. Perfect location. Lovely, pristinely clean room with refrigerator. Breakfasts included extensive selection of fresh, local treats including precious Austrian pumpkin seed oil drizzled on our eggs. Many apricot items beyond just jam. Lovely area outdoors for relaxing. If you’re visiting the Wachau, stay here!
